For the fastest and most accurate assessment of your project, please provide as much of the following information as possible to our sales department:
Have you selected a specific hardware platform for your project? If so, which platform?
Which operating system are you working with and which version of the OS?
Which windowing system are you using (X11, Microsoft Windows, DirectFB, EGL, etc)?
Do you need support for:
- -2D (if so, which API support and which version, if known)
- -3D (if so, which API support and which version, if known)
- -Video (if so, which API support (DXVA, DXVA2, GStreamer, OpenMACs, XvMC, DirectVS, other))
If using video, could you confirm:
-Which codecs are being used (MPEG2, MPEG4, H.264, WMV/VC1, other)?
-If the project involves encode or decode or both?
-Does the project involve content protection (e.g. Cop, WM-VRM, Fairplay, HDCP)
-What level of acceleration is required (motion compensation, IDCT, VLD/Bitstream)
-Who is providing the media framework (audio decoder, video decoder, demuxer, etc)? Intervideo, GStreamer or internally developed?
Please could you provide a short description of the project with any other general information that will assist with our evaluation?
Can you provide any approximate dates for your schedule/timescales for the project?
Do you have a specific budget in mind for this project?
